About

Why a Skatepark?

My Name Is Ellery Kuntz and I am a 2017 El Molino High School graduate with a life long passion for skateboarding. Forestville has been home my entire life. I participated in the activities it offers, such as Little League and other team sports. But as I got older, I began focusing on self competition rather than organized sports. I reached out to the community on behalf of my dream - to build a skatespot in Forestville. As a passionate skateboarder, I know Forestville will greatly benefit from a skatepark by encouraging  involvement from those less interested in joining teams, and by bringing in local and out of the area families to enjoy skating, too. Not only will the skatepark benefit Sonoma's West County, but all skateboarders, kids needing a welcoming hangout, and those who have not yet found their passion.
